Why do we use this method of collecting contact information? It's simple. When parents enter their own contact information, we reduce:
- paper usage - by not sending multiple sheets of paper to each student during the first week of school when they may get lost in the shuffle
- errors - since you enter your own information there's no deciphering writing on forms and entering data manually leading to entry mistakes
- wasting YOUR time - YOU decide which volunteer opportunities interest you and only THOSE committees will contact you about volunteering
It's a simple and easy way for you to provide the information you are comfortable with sharing, and for the PTA to get the information we need. And, if you prefer not to be included in the printed directory, simply check the Opt Out box. As an added bonus, once you are in the database all you need to do is update annual changes, like grade and teacher or a new kinder sibling, and your information is there until your youngest child graduates from Mills!
Any information you enter is ONLY accessible to approved Officers and Board Members of the Mills PTA, and will only be used to create the annual directory and to contact volunteers for PTA and Mills events and programming.
